Proportional Commission will be paid from trip profit directly to churches or other groups of ten or more with only the multiple day trips.  Record payment to date was one church (15 passengers) who earned over $1000.00  when we had a full Anderson Motor Coach. We usually have nice profit with only full bus on these popular trips.

March 20 (Wed).  –  Sap a Rising
Depart 9:15 Ravenna, 10:00 Howland Lowe’s
Visit the heart of Maple syrup country.  We eat at Mary Millers for pancakes & sausage breakfast. See Middlefield Cheese & Burton Log Cabin Camp.  Enjoy  Mary Miller’s delicious Amish Lunch feast.
Return  6:00  Home

April 24 (Wed). – Gardening & Gazing
Departures:  9:00 Lowe’s in Howland, 9:45  Ravenna Giant Eagle
*Observatory Park – Geauga Park- You will be Human sundial.
*Three wine tastings
*Nauvoo Family Market
*Welshfield Inn – Pot Roast or Chicken Piccata- chicken breast smeared with  capers, red onions, &  chardonnay lemon-herb butter.  Enjoy asparagus and wild rice also.
*Urban Growers – State of  the Art Greenhouse Tour  –   4” flower pot gift to  take home.
*Sharon James Winery  – Wine Tasting and Desert.  Amish family market and bakery.

*Ohio Star Theater show –  “Ruth”

June 21 (Fri).  – Train,  Wine  &  Choc
8:00 Depart Howland Lowe’s, 8:45  Depart Ravenna  Giant Eagle (Rest stop at McDonalds near Cleveland)
*Arrive at Peninsula Train Station at 10:30  Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  A Park Ranger will share  “Voices of the Valley” on the train.
*Bus meets group after arrival at Akron Train Station – Akron Depot at Noon.
*Papa Joes – Italian dining – Salad, Chicken Parmigiana and Spaghetti with desert.
*Visit a family-owned winery – enjoy 3 tastings.
*Fanny May Chocolate with finest gourmet  Chocolates, fudges, and candies.
7:30  Return home

July 19
(Fri). Lady Caroline Ship Cleveland
Depart 8:00   Howland Lowes, 8:45  Ravenna
*One hour city Tour via bus,  and enjoy the Lady Caroline –  the new beautiful deluxe ship in Cleveland.  We begin our two-hour boat ride and enjoy a nice full lunch buffet.
*West Side Market – bring your cooler to take home some goodies.
*Mitchel’s homemade ice cream – Ice Cream crafted in Ohio City. Have a cone!!!
*International Women’s Air & Space Museum.

Aug 22 (Thur).   –   Niagara Falls, Ny
Depart 6:00  Small group only from Ravenna, 7:00 Bus meets group at Howland Lowe’s 940 Niles Cortland Rd SE, Warren, OH 44484.           Note  ONLY ONE PICKUP –  No Passport is needed for this northern tour.
Quick breakfast as we travel toward Buffalo.
10:45 Arrive at Niagara Falls, NY.  We will have plenty of time on your own to enjoy the Falls and maybe walk under the Falls, or ride to the top of the observation deck.   Plenty of time available for Niagara shopping, 5:00  depart Niagara Falls, NY. Quick Stop for Dinner on our return home.

*Der Dutchman – choice of two meats.
*Taste three different wines at Breitenback

Depart 8:15   Bus tour starts at Ravenna Giant Eagle. 9:00   Bus meets Howland group at  Lowe’s (Bathroom stop available on way to Sharon PA.)

Dec 11 (Wed).    Discover Christmas in Steubenville, Ohio

See the Largest collection of Lifesize Nut-crackers.  We enjoy shopping and touring at the Fiesta Tableware retail outlet company.  Be sure to note the murals as we travel through the town of Steubenville. Dinner is included.

Loading point locations:  (Two locations).

Howland Lowes – 940 Niles Cortland Rd. (Rt. 46) Niles, Ohio 44446. This is actually in Howland near the corner of Rt. 46 and 82.   Lowe’s  is approximately ½ mile West of Rt. 11  at the junction of Rts. 82 and 46.

Overnight departures will load at Ravenna Giant Eagle, and only at the Howland United Methodist Church on 730 Howland Wilson Rd., Warren, Ohio 44484.    HUM is next to Mines Elem. School.  If there are other large groups, an extra loading point may be available in Mahoning count

The Ravenna loading point is at 909 E Main St. Ravenna, Ohio 44426.  The parking area is between the Root Beer shop and the Chipotle Restaurant.  It is actually on north side of Rt. 59 about ½ mile west of Rt. 44.   Giant Eagle is behind this mini parking area.

Note: There may be slight adjustments in any tour itinerary, schedule, price, descriptions, published  prior to departure.   Also note the multiple day trips are organized by volunteers from HJM or SCOPE.   All reservations and tour availability information are only available through the Niles SCOPE.    Only  the multiple day trips have assigned seats.  Starting Jan.1,2024 all basic minimum driver tips and all fuel surcharges are included in the tour.   No money collected on the bus!!       Always make  your check out to SCOPE.
